Bhagat Sain Ji (14th-15th century CE) is one of the fifteen Bhagat Bani contributors to the Guru Granth Sahib.

In the Guru Granth Sahib, one Sabad of Bhagat Sain Ji is recorded on page 695 under Rag Dhanasari. It has two stanzas of two lines each. The stanza of rahau, which also consists of two lines, is separate from these stanzas. In this Sabad, Bhagat Sain Ji has sung ‘arti’

of the transcendent state of the Supreme Being.

Guru Ramdas Sahib (1534-1581 CE), Guru Arjan Sahib (1563-1606 CE), Bhagat Ravidas (1377-1528 CE) and Bhai Gurdas (1551-1636 CE) have also praised Bhagat Sain Ji. Guru Ramdas Sahib states:
jo jo milai sādhū jan saṅgati dhanu dhannā jaṭu saiṇu miliā hari daīā. -Guru Granth Sahib 835.

Guru Arjan Sahib considers him a popular Bhagat who have connected with IkOankar (the Divine):
sainu nāī butkārīā ohu ghari ghari suniā. hirde vasiā pārbrahamu bhagtā mahi ganiā. -Guru Granth Sahib 487.
nāī udhrio sainu sev. -Guru Granth Sahib 1192.
bhalo kabīru dāsu dāsan ko ūtamu sainu janu nāī. -Guru Granth Sahib 1207.

Similarly, Bhagat Ravidas mentions him along with other saintly individuals:
nāmdev kabīru tilocanu sadhnā sainu tarai. -Guru Granth Sahib 1106.

Bhai Gurdas has also mentioned him in some of his vars:
suṇi partāpu kabīr dā dūjā sikh hoā saiṇu nāī. -Bhai Gurdas Ji, Var 10, Pauri 16.
beṇi hoā adhiātamī saiṇu nīc kulu andari nāī. -Bhai Gurdas Ji, Var 12, Pauri 15.
kuli ravidāsu camāru hai saiṇu sanātī andari nāī. -Bhai Gurdas Ji, Var 25, Pauri 5.

Thus, Bhagat Sain Ji’s name is counted among the renowned bhagats like Bhagat Namdev Ji, Bhagat Kabir Ji, Bhagat Trilochan Ji, Bhagat Beni Ji, Bhagat Dhanna Ji, and Bhagat Ravidas Ji.
