Din Raini

Guru Arjan Sahib

In the Guru Granth Sahib, Din Raini is a poetic form, like Barah Maha, Ruti, Thiti, and Var Sat. It uses day and night as a basis to create a unique four-stanza Sabad. This Sabad imparts the teaching of making every day and night, that is, all times, fruitful through service, contemplation, and loving devotion.
