In this Sabad, Sheikh Farid Ji employs Islamic vocabulary and terminology to urge the being to connect with IkOankar (the Divine). Emphasizing the transient nature of the creation, he teaches that by following the path shown by the Wisdom (Guru), the being can unite with IkOankar in this very life. This requires mastering the senses that agitate the mind and lead it astray.
